A 6 minute documentary video by a source who refused to be named shows the clash of Abu Sayyaf members against the military in the town of Patikul, Sulu went viral just recently.

A high ranking official of the Joint Task Force Sulu has confirmed the authenticity of the video.

 The military official said that the terrain in the video is similar to those shown in the videos of their recent operations.
In the video, we can see the bandits shooting at the supposed military and a bandit get shot while some can be heard talking in a language in which a Sulu local confirms as Tausug.
