CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - Police authorities mourns the death of their fellow officer when the victim was shot by suspected drug personality in an anti-drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Colonia, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
PO2 Autida of Valencia Police Station died when he was shot in the chest while chasing the suspect that ran to avoid arrest.
According to Bombo Radyo Bukidnon Provincial Police Office spokesperson S/Insp. Danielo Bellezas, the suspect has sensed that police are nearby which prompts them to run.
Autida then attempted to chase after not knowing the (suspect) was armed, which then started to shoot and hit the victim's chest.

Autida's colleagues eventually fought back and killed the suspect. An Insp. Sevilleno was also wounded during the gunfight with the suspect using .38 caliber gun.
