Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista was emotional in a close-door meeting with the department heads exactly where he admitted that his brother, Hero, was the councilor who tested constructive for marijuana and “shabu”.
Bautista’s announcement ended days of speculation on who amongst the 36 city councilors came up positive in voluntary drug tests performed at city hall last week.
Bautista vowed to possess his brother undergo “drug and spiritual counseling.” said in an Inquirer post concerning the matter.
Bautista also mentioned that he will not use his position to break his brother out of this mess.
Hero will have a privileged speech on Monday concerning the matter.
